ANPP recalls one batch of GANT H surgical gloves over quality defect

The Agence Nationale des Produits Pharmaceutiques (ANPP) has ordered a voluntary batch recall and quarantine of GANT H sterile latex surgical gloves.

The affected batch is G00026, size 6.5, with expiry date 0812028. The product is manufactured by SPA IMGSA.

The authority cited a “défaut de qualité” (quality defect) as the reason for the action. The notice also lists a subsequent “levée de la mise en quarantaine” (lifting of quarantine), though the sequence and current status of these measures are not fully detailed.

Healthcare facilities and distributors holding batch G00026 must quarantine the stock and follow the recall instructions issued by the authority. The notice does not specify whether the product should be returned, destroyed, or held pending further instruction.
