The Entidade Reguladora Independente da Saúde (ERIS) has ordered the permanent withdrawal of batch 03725 of Lauroderme nappy cream.
Pharmacies and other commercial establishments holding units of batch 03725 must return the product to EMPROFAC, S.A., the Responsible Person for placing the product on the national market, through standard return procedures. Consumers should not use products from the affected batch, as ERIS states there is no evidence of their current conformity.
The product is marketed as “CREME BARREIRA MUDA-FRALDAS LAURODERME” and “CREME MUDA-FRALDAS LAURODERME”. The batch had been under temporary suspension by ERIS order. The permanent withdrawal follows investigation work related to quality problems identified earlier; ERIS states it was unable to confirm the quality of the batch, which will now cease to be marketed definitively.
The measure applies exclusively to batch 03725. Other batches of the product may continue to be marketed and used normally.
EMPROFAC, S.A. is the contact point for additional information as the Responsible Person for placing the product on the national market.
