The Agence Marocaine du Médicament et des Produits de Santé (AMMPS) has recalled two batches of Cardioaspirine 100 mg gastro-resistant tablets (acetylsalicylic acid) following a temperature excursion during transport.
Pharmacists and pharmaceutical wholesalers must immediately stop distributing, dispensing and using batches BT1CJP2 and BT1CJP3, quarantine any remaining stock, and return the batches to industrial pharmaceutical establishment Bayer in coordination with the company.
The recall is precautionary. The authority stated that no product quality complaints or pharmacovigilance cases linked to the reason for the recall have been reported to date for these batches.
