Morocco's AMMPS moves cosmetic raw material import applications online

The Agence Marocaine du Médicament et des Produits de Santé (AMMPS) has moved import applications for cosmetic and personal hygiene raw materials to an exclusively electronic process.

The temporary measure, announced on 26 October 2026, requires operators to submit applications and all supporting documents by email to reception.produitsdesante@ammps.gov.ma. The change applies only to raw materials intended for local manufacture of cosmetics and personal hygiene products.

AMMPS instructed applicants to ensure dossiers are complete, compliant and properly presented to facilitate reception, processing and evaluation. The authority did not state how long the transitional arrangement will remain in place, when the previous submission method was used, or whether any other product categories are affected.
