NAFDAC updates ceiling list and blocks new registrations for listed imports

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has updated its ceiling list of imported pharmaceutical products.

The agency will no longer accept new applications for registration of imported pharmaceutical products that appear on the list. For renewal applications, NAFDAC will process these under the 5+5 policy pathway, which requires applicants to submit a blueprint or plan for migration to local manufacture of the product at the point of renewal.
